Armstrong finally demolished the last lingering illusions of those for whom admiration of his feat in conquering cancer had exceeded suspicion of the means by which he achieved his run of Tour successes.
It's quite hard to understand the whole thing but this article from Jonathan Vaughters is the best I have read on the subject so far, (and also David Millar's book).
